Welcome to the Joshua Church website. 

We would love to take a little time to introduce ourselves. We are a lively, International Pentecostal church (Associated with the Assemblies of God sister Fellowship in Germany -B.F.P). We have as our foundation the Word of God (The Bible) that has the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. We believe that the Love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ can still be a source of hope, joy, and peace in today’s world. Our aim is to live this out in our daily lives without compromise and in so doing serve the people of Papenburg and the surrounding area.

The Joshua Church is made up of 16 nations and so it is not unusual for us to sing a song in English, Spanish or Bulgarian. After the service, there is plenty of time to catch up over a cup of coffee.

The town of Papenburg is host to the Mayer Werft one of the largest builders of Luxury Cruise Liners in the world. Often first-time visitors to Papenburg take the opportunity of booking a tour of the Shipyard.
